Key Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this visa, you must:
- Have a Sponsor: Your application must be supported by an eligible sponsor.
- Be Nominated: Unless your sponsor is a Commonwealth Government agency, nomination is required.
- Be Invited: Required only if your sponsor is a Commonwealth Government agency.
- Meet Age Requirements: You must be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a Valid Visa: Applicants must hold a substantive temporary visa, excluding the following:
- Subclass 403 visa
- Subclass 771 Transit visa
- Special Purpose visa
- Health and Character Compliance: You must satisfy health and character requirements.
- Have Adequate Health Insurance: A valid health insurance policy is mandatory.
- Meet Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) Criteria: Demonstrate your intention to stay in Australia temporarily.
- Have Work Experience: 12 months full time or equivalent work experience related to the nominated occupations is required.
- Have Functional English:
- IELTS: Average band score of at least 4.5 across the four test components.
- PTE: Total band score of at least 30 across the four test components.
